Weird Sand
In Astwood Cove in Bermuda unique pink sand can be found, a popular site for visitors. Bermuda, also known as Somers Isles, is an idyllic place with its clear blue ocean waters that make it an excellent environment for scuba diving and snorkeling.
In the Ka'u district in Hawaii is the rare green sand in Papakolea Beach. Believed to have been formed 49,000 years ago, its unique coloring stems from olivine crystals, a mineral that has been identified in meteorites, the moon, Mars, comets, and astroids. These crystals are found in a nearby cinder cone.
