Frames are made out of an antique-mahogany finish with rope lip
and with black trim on the outside of frame.
Mounting: Our framing begins with the process of press
mounting the map to a refined wood fiber backing board. This
ensures a flat and unblemished image surface.
Image Protection: We then apply a semi-matte protective film
to the surface of the map. This innovative procedure protects
the image from fading through the use of UV light absorbers, in
addition to protecting the image surface from scratches,
fingerprints and liquids. This alternative to glass, provides
all of the benefits that glass does, but without the issues of
light reflection, weight, and fragility.
Maps can be
framed with its border showing for $150.00 or without its border
showing for $125.00.
